About GHK-Cu
GHK (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine) naturally binds copper to form GHK-Cu, a peptide complex that declines in the body with age. It's one of the more clinically studied peptides in this catalog, with a multi-decade research history in dermatology.
What the research shows — and an important distinction
Human randomized controlled trials of topical GHK-Cu have reported measurable benefits — improved wrinkle depth and skin elasticity in cosmetic trials, and accelerated wound closure in chronic wound and post-surgical scar studies. A registered Phase 2 trial (ClinicalTrials.gov) is currently evaluating topical GHK-Cu gel for accelerating healing of standardized skin wounds.
The evidence for injectable/systemic GHK-Cu — how it's dispensed here — is considerably thinner than for the topical form that most of the human trial data actually covers. Mechanistic and animal research supports similar biological activity via injection, but the direct human RCT base is specific to topical application.
